Frequently asked questions
Who are you and what are you about?
Hi there! I'm Pascale and I am a visual artist, designer, and digital art enthousiast.
I split my time between Paris and the fabulous city of Montreal.
I love working with both physical media and digital media, often bridging the two together in a singular piece. My work centers around observations of the world I live in. I tend to gravitate towards subjects that were once taboo but that are now emerging into the collective discourse: gender and sexual fluidity, suppression and censorship, hope and the wider experience of the human experience.
Where can we see your work?

Where do you get your inspiration?
Literally everywhere!! Nature, cities, books, comics, Old Master painters, abstract painters, it really depends on the series I'm woking on. For example, the series Paint it Black was inspired by Caravaggio and Le Corbusier. And yes, I did listen to a lot of Rolling Stones while working on that series.
Who are your favourite artists?
Gawd, that's like asking a parent who their favourite child is... But I will say that the following artists did influence my art (in any particular order):
1) Francis Bacon
2) Georgia O'Keeffe
3) Any Abstract Expressionist: Lee Krasner, Rothko, Gottlieb, de Kooning, Barnett Newman,
4) Robert Mapplethorpe
5) Cy Twombly
6) Tracey Emin
